Requirements
Grade 12 with a minimum of four years’ experience in public finance, preferable in Expenditure and Cash management. Financial Management Degree or National Diploma will act as an advantage. Good knowledge and competencies of Financial Management processes. An understanding and knowledge of E-Receipts, PAAB and Bas system. Good Supervision and Problem solving skills. Computer literacy particularly MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Sound knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and treasury regulations. Valid RSA driver’s license.
Duties
Processing of E-receipts and Banking of state monies. Compile Monthly petty cash replenishment. Follow-up on the deposit slip for the money banked and compiled a monthly report. Monitoring compliance to audit queries, action plans and reporting requirements. Provide documents as per Audit request for the cash management section. Attend meetings and participate in relevant committees. Ensuring safe keeping of financial records and general Office administration.
